Are you looking for an excellent opportunity to advance your career in sales and leadership in Foodservice Paper and Disposables?  Our client, a leader in the biodegradable and sustainable Paper and Disposables Industry for over 50 years, is seeking a dynamic National Account Manager for the Southeast region of the United States.  This position is remote based in the Greater Atlanta, GA area.

The National Account Manager focuses on selling manufactured product to National Accounts.  The position is responsible for all sales activities with their assigned National Account Regional with the underlying goal to aggressively grow and maintain National Account customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Target new and penetrate existing National Accounts in all channels of the Foodservice Industry
  • Utilized Distribution, E-COM, Direct, Broker and other platforms to manage National Accounts
  • Must have a ‘go to’ for knowledge regarding company branded products
  • Become familiar with the product attributes to be able to effectively communicate and educate customers on their features, advantages, and benefits
  • Assist internal and external personnel on sales calls as a Product Expert
  • Understand and keep documentation on the competitive landscape
  • Be aware of current legislation in regards to the Paper and Disposables Industry
  • Manage all customer information related to In To Stock pricing, bids & contracts, competitive awareness, allowances, marketing promotions, deviations, profitability and corporate mandated practices
  • Provide customer sales support by sample submission and handling, tradeshows, customer food shows, forecasting, identifying, and tracking customer sales trends, conversion understanding and support, product training, sales meeting participation, and plant tours
  • Manage New Customer Onboarding: establishing programs & pricing
  • Support District & Broker Management assistance/support/leadership, product training, food/trade show and vacation coverage

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 7+ years’ experience in distribution, major accounts, and broker management in the Paper & Disposables Industry
  • Minimum 5 years Chain and National Foodservice account experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Must have cross channel experience and the proven ability to effectively sell
  • Possess a self-motivated Hunter mentality
  • Collaborate and Coordinate with teams including procurement, marketing, operations & administration
  • 40% travel
  • This position is remote but must be based in the Greater Atlanta, GA area
